Doha: A Qatari refereeing team led by international referee Salman Ahmed Falahi was assigned the management of the final match of the Iraq Cup Championship, scheduled between Zakho and Duhok on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Al-Shaab International Stadium in the capital Baghdad.  

The rest of the team consists of Ramzan Saeed Al-Nuaimi as the first assistant referee and Majed Hadires Al-Shammari as the second assistant referee, while Mishari Ali Al-Shammari will assume responsibility for Video Assistant Refereeing (VAR).  

This assignment comes within the framework of fruitful refereeing cooperation between the Qatari and Iraqi Football Associations, reflecting the level of qualification and readiness of Qatari refereeing teams to manage major tournaments in the region.
