Doha: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Referees Committee has assigned a Qatari officiating team to oversee the upcoming match between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The crew will be led by Mohammed Ahmed Al-Shammari as the central referee, with Khalid Ayed Khalfan and Faisal Eid Al-Shammari serving as first and second assistant referees, respectively. Abdul Hadi Al-Ruwaili has been designated as the fourth official.
This match is part of the final round of qualifiers for the 2027 Asian Cup, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is set to take place on the evening of Thursday, October 9th, in Islamabad, Pakistan.
