DOHA: Coach of the Qatari football national team Fahad Thani stressed
on Sunday on the importance of the team's final match in the Asia Cup
qualification against Bahrain, which will take place on Wednesday.
The coach was talking to his players before they began their training
session in Al Gharafa Sports Club, urging them to stay focused in
order to guarantee winning the group.
Coach Fahad was pleased that some of the players were playing in the
league competition and the Asian Champions League, describing it as
the best preparation for midweek's showdown with Bahrain.
He stressed that all players had equal opportunities to make it into
the starting 11, provided they show dedication in training.
Afterwards the team started their first training session in
preparation for Wednesday's match. Both countries are guaranteed
qualification to the Asia Cup 2015.
However the top position in the group remains up for grabs.
