DOHA: The 26th Arabian Gulf Cup, scheduled to take place in Kuwait from December 21 to January 3, will feature a prominent representation of Qatari referees.
The Referees Committee of the Arabian Gulf Cup Federation has appointed Qatar’s top international referees to officiate at the prestigious tournament. The lineup includes Abdulrahman Al Jassim as a central referee, Saud Ahmed and Taleb Salem as assistant referees, and Khamis Al Marri as a video referee (VAR).
The tournament, featuring national teams from Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE, Oman, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Yemen, highlights the continued excellence of Qatari refereeing in major regional, continental, and international competitions.
