DOHA: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has announced
the schedule of the second division league matches.
Al Markhiya, Mesaimeer, Al Shamal, Muaither, Al Wakra and
new comers Al Bidda form the six-team competition.
The league will run companionably with a cup competition
(Second Division Cup).
In the first round, Al Shamal will take on Muaither at
Saud Bin Abdul Rahman Stadium at Al-Wakra Club on
September 19.
The next day, Al Bidda will make their professional football
debut in a match against Al Markhiya at Al-Sailiya Stadium.
Each round of the second division has only three matches, with
six teams participating in the tournament.
