Doha: With a direct ticket to the 2026 FIFA World Cup at stake, the Qatar Football Association is finalizing preparations to host the pivotal fourth round of Asian qualifiers from October 8-14, 2025. All of Qatar's Group A matches against Oman and the United Arab Emirates will be held at Doha's Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.

Khalid Mubarak Al-Kuwari, QFA's Director of Marketing and Communications, emphasized the need for a strong home-field advantage. "We have coordinating and preparatory meetings with the relevant authorities to ensure perfect organization for all playoff matches," Al-Kuwari stated. "This includes providing all essential services for the fans, from diverse restaurants and prayer halls around the stadium to all other services. Our national team's matches require strong fan support and solidarity from everyone."

The ticket sale schedule for Qatari supporters has been set. The first sale, for the Qatar vs Oman opener, begins on September 29, 2025. The second sale, for the decisive Qatar vs UAE fixture, starts on October 9, 2025. Tickets are available in two classes—First Class (60 QAR) and Second Class (25 QAR)—with a purchase limit of six per person via Tickets.qfa.qa. Accessibility tickets can be requested at [email protected].

The QFA has also clarified the ticket situation for visiting fans. The Oman Football Association has purchased its full allocation for both of Oman's matches, and these are now completely sold out. For Emirati fans, the UAE Football Association has bought its allocation, with a limited number for the UAE vs Oman match going on sale to the public on October 1, 2025.

The match schedule for the home fans is as follows:

· October 8: Qatar vs Oman - 18:00

· October 11: UAE vs Oman - 20:15

· October 14: Qatar vs UAE - 20:15

The QFA reiterated important ground rules: no physical ticket booths will be available at the stadium, and the distribution of tickets near the venue is strictly forbidden to ensure safety and prevent crowding. For any questions, fans can email [email protected].

The stakes could not be higher: the Group A winner qualifies directly for the World Cup 2026. The second-place team will enter a two-match play-off in November 2025 for a spot in the inter-confederation tournament, keeping their World Cup dreams alive.
