DOHA: In an unprecedented move, Qatar Football Association (QFA) on
Wednesday banned Yasser Ahmed Mohammadi for the entire season on
disciplinary grounds.
According to details, Mohammedi will not be paid his dues and his
employers at Qatar Stars League (QSL) will also not pay his dues.
Mohammadi, who featured in two matches of the on-going WAFF Football
Championship, will not play any football until the end of the 2013-14
season.
The new decision comes in the wake of QFA's efforts to instill
discipline for players and officials during every football encounter
in Qatar.
