DOHA: President of the Qatar Football Association Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani on Tuesday congratulated Hiss Highness the Emir, government and people of Qatar on National Day of the state of Qatar. The country celebrates its national day on December 18. The QFA chief voiced his gratitude for the unhindered support given by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani for the Qatari sport sector, allotting Qatar to earn prominent international stature and maintain a strong presence in international and regional organisations in alignment with the Qatar 2030 vision. He was quoted ” The Qatari people connect the past to present and future and remember the history and the march of the nation, led by the founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammad bin Thani and his companions, their patience, sacrifices and unity. He added that the Qatari people also observe on the National Day the achievements they accomplished under the wise leadership of HH the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. The Qatari people also look forwards to a bright future with hope, optimism and belief in the leadership of HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani towards the achievement of the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 to improve the society, and secure the future of next generation, QFA chief said. Sheikh Hamad expressed hope that the country will enjoy stability, progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of Emir Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Tahni.
