DOHA: Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the
Qatar Football Association (QFA), on Sunday met with HRH Prince Haji
Sufri Bolkiah, the President of Brunei Olympic Committee and the
country's football chief.
The two officials held wide-ranging discussions on ways to develop
football in Asia.
Later the two officials also exchanged mementos.
HRH Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah applauded Qatar’s comprehensive
development in their sports infrastructure and its ambitious strategy
for development in all fields especially in hosting to top events.
The Brunei football chief is expected to witness the WAFF Championship
final between Qatar and Jordan on January 7.
