DOHA: Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, president of the Qatar Football Association, received today Felix Sanchez, coach of the Qatar U-19 National team.
The two discussed the preparatory program propsed by the Spaniard tactician to set up the Qatar U-19 squad for the 2014 Asian Cup set to take place in Myanmar next November.
Qatar qualified last month as group winners after winning all of their matches on the expense of India, Turkmenistan, Nepal and Uzbekistan.
The group winners of the nine groups alongside with six best-placed sides and hosts Myanmar advanced to the final tournament. Qatar, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Palestine, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand and China hosted the qualifiers involving 40 countries across the continent.
