Doha: The Refereeing Department of the Qatar Football Association has successfully concluded its November school program, held at Abdulrahman Bin Auf Preparatory School for Boys. The initiative aimed to promote a culture of refereeing among students and encourage their early entry into the field.

Under the supervision of Abdulaziz Bandar Al-Shammari, a lecturer and referee assessor with the Refereeing Department, the course attracted 16 students. These recruits will now undergo a comprehensive curriculum of theoretical law lectures and practical training sessions. This program is designed to integrate them into the youth age-group refereeing system, with proficient individuals beginning a progressive career path in officiating.

The strategic objective of such courses is to expand the base of Qatari referees and build a new, qualified generation capable of leading matches at both domestic and international levels in the future.
