Doha: The Qatar Football Association's (QFA) Futsal and Beach Soccer Department held a coordination meeting yesterday, Sunday, with the directors of the futsal teams from clubs participating in the 2025/2026 season competitions.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ibrahim Shahin Al-Sulaiti, Acting Director of the Futsal and Beach Soccer Department, and attended by Abdulaziz Al-Ansari, Head of the Futsal and Beach Soccer Section, and Nasser Fahd Al-Kuwari from the administration.

The meeting featured extensive dialogue and discussion. The registration system and the number of players on team rosters were discussed, along with player registration requirements. It was also determined that players must be amateurs for this season's competitions. Furthermore, participating clubs were informed about the financial support allocated for the 2025/2026 sports season.

Regarding the competitions and tournaments to be organized by the Department this season, the Qatar Futsal Federation Cup and the Qatar Futsal League will be held. Attendees discussed the 2025/2026 sports calendar, and the QFA Hall at Al-Wakrah Club and the Al-Khor Club Hall were approved to host the matches.
