Doha: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has launched the B-Level and D-Level Football Coaching Diploma courses this week, marking a significant step in its ongoing efforts to develop technical staff and qualify coaches according to the latest Asian standards. The programs, under the direct supervision of the QFA's Development Management, are being held at the well-equipped sports facilities of Qatar University.

Mr. Fahad Thani Al-Zarraa, Executive Director of Development at the QFA, confirmed that the organization of these courses falls within a comprehensive strategy. "This is part of a comprehensive plan aimed at qualifying coaching competencies and providing an integrated learning environment that contributes to raising the level of coaches in line with the requirements of the Qatari and Asian federations," he said. He further highlighted the considerable efforts of the Education Department team in organizing the training sessions and coordinating technical and administrative elements to ensure the achievement of the intended goals.

The flagship B-Level Diploma, overseen by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), involves an elite group of former coaches and players. Its rigorous curriculum, led by QFA and AFC-accredited lecturers, spans one week per month over five months and integrates theoretical lectures with practical field applications.

Alongside the B-Level program, the QFA's Development Management is also conducting the D-Level coaching course. Designed to prepare a new generation of coaches with modern scientific methodologies, this intensive course is set to conclude this week, with final examinations scheduled for next Sunday.
