AMMAN, Jordan: QFA Presdident Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani participated in the 12th Ordinary General Assembly of the West Asian Football Federation (WAAF) for the year 2022 held in the Jordanian capital Amman on Thursday.
The meeting was chaired by His Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, President of the West Asian Federation, with the participation of Heads of member associations.
The meeting discussed many topics on the agenda as the minutes of the previous General Assembly meeting No. 11, which was held on April 16, 2021, were approved. The report of the Secretary-General of the activities for the previous period to date was discussed and approved.
The financial statements and auditors report of the West Asian Federation for the year 2021 were also approved, as well as the regulations and regulations for amendments to the electoral system of the West Asian Football Federation, and the regulations of the General Assembly of the West Asian Federation.
