DOHA: QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani on Sunday met with Michele Uva, Chief Executive Officer of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), at Al Bidda Tower, the home of Qatar football.
QSL Head of Competitions and Football Development, Ahmed Al-Harami was also present during the brief meeting.
QFA President Sheikh Hamad said QFA looks forward to expanding the sports network in the country after mutual discussions with bodies like CONI in the future.
Uva echoed Sheikh Hamad’s sentiments, saying CONI would welcome sports exchanges between the two countries.
Michelle Uva hailed the significant role played by the QFA, expressing desire to see further constructive cooperation between the QFA and the Italian Olympic Committee.
Later, the two officials exchanged mementos.
