DOHA: Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of Qatar
Football Association (QFA), on Monday met with his counterparts from Pakistan and Nepal, Maktoom Faisal and Ganesh Thapa respectively.
The trio talked about matters of mutual interest and ways to improve
football relations between the three countries.
The football chiefs also exchanged mementosduring the meeting which took place at Al Bidda Towers.
The QFA president invited Faisal and Thapa to witness matches in the on-going
WAFF Football Championship which is being held in Doha.
Hassan ‘thanked the QFA chief for the hospitality’ and said he ‘looked
forward to exploring new ways of football exchanges between the two
parties’.
Qatar will take on Jordan in the final match of the WAFF tournament later today.
