DOHA: The QatarFootballAssociation (QFA) has decided to look for a newmanagement team for the Olympic team after its disappointing results in the5thOlympicGCCFootballChampionship.
The decision to fire Chilean coach Moreno came after his team failed to win a single match in their games against Saudi Arabia and Oman.
The coming days will seeQFAreveal the name of the next coach, aQFAofficial said on Sunday.
The new coach will assume charge after the October 9 elections.
Moreno took charge back in June 2013 and led the team in its training camp in Holland.
However the team failed to perform up to standards and lost 0-1 and 0-3 to Saudi Arabia and Oman respectively.
TheQatariOlympic team will face Thailand on September 6.
