DOHA: Al-Bidda beat Muaither 1-0 while Lusail edged past Mesaimeer with the same result in the first group matches of the Second Division.
In other matches, Al-Wa'ab beat Al-Markhiya 2-0 while Al-Kharaitiyat tied with Al Shahaniya 2-2.
The second round witnessed 8 goals scored, two more than the first week. The match between Al Shahaniya and Al Kharaitiyat had the highest tally of goals, but it ended in a draw.
With the end of the second round of the Second Division Cup matches, Lusail continue to lead the standings of the first group teams with 6 points while Al-Bidda rose to second place with 3 points. Mesaimeer are in third spot followed by Muaither in fourth spot.
As for the second group, Al-Waab continue to lead with 6 points followed by Al-Kharaitiyat are second with 2 points from two draws. Al-Shahaniya are in third with 1 point while Al-Markhiya are in fourth place.

The four matches of the second round witnessed 16 yellow cards though there were no red cards. The matches of Mesaimeer and Lusail (5), Al-Kharitiyat, Al Shahaniya (5), Al-Waab and Al-Markhiya (5) had the most yellow cards.
Meanwhile the top scorers are Jostick and Doi from Al-Bidaa, and Reza Zadeh from Al-Waab, with two goals for each, while nne players are equal with a goal each from Mesaimeer, Lusail, Al-Shahaniya, Al-Waab and Al-Kharaitiyat teams.

The matches of the third week of the Second Division Cup will be held on Thursday and Friday corresponding to 16-17 this month.
