DOHA: Al Kharaitiyat defeated Mesaimeer, Al Markhiya edged Al Waab and Al Shahaniya beat Muaither in Second Division matches. Incidentally, all matches ended with a 1-0 margin. In the fourth match, Lusail beat Al Bidda 3-1. The three goals for each of Al Kharitiyat, Al Markhiya and Al Shahaniya were scored by Abdel-Fadil Swanon, Harmon Bougherta, and Diego de Brito, respectively. The three goals for Lusail were scored by Saud Ali, Abdel-Rahman Sassi and Abdullah Al-Haddad. Adel Ahmed scored the only goal for Al Bidda. By the end of the third-week matches, Al Kharaitiyat continues to lead with 9 points. Al Shahaniya, with the exact tally, is in second place, with a goal difference in favour of Al Kharaitiyat. Lusail is in third place with six points and a goal difference against Al Markhiya, who is in the fourth spot with the same tally. As for Mesaimeer, it occupies fifth place with three points, and Muaither is in sixth place with one point. Al-Badaa, with one point, is in the seventh-place while pointless Al Waab is in the eighth spot.   Al Shahaniya’s Diego de Brito leads the top scorer’s list with three goals. Four players are in second place with two goals: Ahmed Salem (Al Waab), Rashid Tiberkinen (Al Kharaitiyat), Abdel-Fadil Swanon (Al Kharitiyat) and Bugurta Hamroun (Al Markhiya). The fourth round matches will start next Saturday, the 23rd of this month, with two meetings, where A Bidaa will meet Al Kharaitiyat at Al Sailiya Club Stadium, and Al Waab will play Al Shahaniya at Thani Bin Jassim Stadium in Al Gharafa Club. On Sunday, October 24, Mesaimeer and Losail will meet at Al Wakra Stadium, and Muaither will play Al Markhiya in Al Sailiya Club. All four matches will be played at the same time starting at 6:45 pm.
