The Third Edition of the Qatar-UAE Super Cup is Officially Announced

Doha: The organizing committee of the Qatar-UAE Super Cup has announced the return of the tournament for its third edition. Scheduled to take place from January 22 to 25, 2026, the event promises four days of thrilling football, featuring eight elite clubs—four from each nation—in a series of high-stakes matches.

 

This third edition is a continuation of the successful sporting partnership between the two football institutions and a testament to the deep-rooted relations between Qatar and the UAE. Football enthusiasts can anticipate an exceptional tournament that reflects the spirit of intense competition and reinforces collaborative efforts to develop Gulf football, creating sporting events worthy of both nations' esteemed stature.

 

The action will commence on January 22nd with the Super Cup match, where Al-Gharafa will face Sharjah at Thani bin Jassim Stadium in Doha. The following day, January 23rd, will see Al Wahda take on Al Duhail in the Challenge Shield at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

 

The football fiesta continues on January 24th with a powerful clash for the Super Shield between Al Sadd and Shabab Al Ahli at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Doha. The event will then conclude on January 25th with the Challenge Cup, pitting Al Ahli against Al Jazira at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in the capital, Abu Dhabi.
