Duhail Sports Club is one of the teams in the league, located in the Duhail district of Doha. It was established in 2009 under the name Lekhwiya Sports Club. 

Duhail began its journey in the Second Division before earning promotion to the First Division (Qatar Stars League), where it started competing in the 2010–2011 season. 

Since its founding, the club has steadily and consistently progressed toward achieving its goals. Its football team is considered one of the strongest and most prominent, not only in the local sports scene but also at the regional and Asian levels.
